  • Meet Elijah! This poor guy was found tied up to a local animal control facilities fence after hours and was emaciated!...Thankfully, he is now safe in a warm home and getting lots of love and good food...Elijah is a spunky young guy with a LOT of love to give. He will lay on your lap as long as you will let him. He is about 85% housebroke. BUT, when you let him out consistently and often, is 100% housebroken. Elijah gets along well with other dogs in his foster home but, is not really suited to a home with cats, as he can play too rough. Elijah is being crate trained, but, has some separation anxiety ( he always wants to be with the people he loves! ) so, we have gotten him a Thunder Shirt to wear in his crate and he is improving... Elijah ADORES kids but due to his energy level, a home with older children is recommended. All in all, Elijah is a very loving and sweet boy! And according to his foster mom, a "cuddling machine!" He needs a home that can devote as much time as he is prepared to give himself. For additional information on this sweet boy, please email his foster mom, Kaitlyn@cprfund.com or fill out an online adoption application at www.CPRFund.com Elijah is microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative and neutered. His adoption fee is $150.00

Stella loves all her dog friends at her foster home and would love a forever home with another canine friend. Miss Stella is very bright and is eager to please. She is learning house manners and commands and is doing very well. She takes treats gently and does GREAT with children. • Say Hello to Fidget! He is a 4 year old Chihuahua. Fidget has come back to Rescue since his owner passed away. This sweet, cuddly boy really needs another "Mommy". Also, since little Fidget is such a momma's boy : ) he would do best in a home without small children. If you would like to meet him, please fill out an online adoption application on our website, www.CPRFund.com and email his foster mom, Carrie@cprfund.com for additional information. Fidget is already neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and on monthly Heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $150.00

  • Please meet Darla! She is a 3 year old American Bulldog/ American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Darla is a sweetheart of a girl and as her foster mom says " a Super good snuggler " She is being taught some basic commands and is already housebroken! Which is a good thing because unfortunately, she does have some anxiety issues if she is crated...Darla really likes the other dogs in her foster home but, they do not always like her in return. Darla can get pretty exuberant when she plays, which may be too much for some dogs. So, while we would like to be able to place her in a home with other dogs, we would have to make sure their personalities match up. Darla also currently lives with a cat whom she loves to take naps with even though she does enjoy chasing him at times... She is an excitable gal and if their are other pets in the home a more experienced dog owner would be recommended. If she is an only pet, we know she would love to get all the attention and "snuggle time" to herself! Darla is up to date on vaccinations, Heartworm negative and on prevention and already spayed. Her adoption fee is $150.00 If you would like to adopt this pretty gal, please visit our website, www.CPRFund.com and fill out an online adoption application. Email Darla's foster mom, MichelleG@cprfund.com for additional information.

  • Say hello to this pretty and uniquely marked 4 yr old pooch named Maya! She is a Pitt/Rott mix that is knee high, weighs approximately 60 lbs and looking for a loving forever home. She was found as a stray and when she came into rescue, needed to be taught a thing or two. Maya attended 2 months of obedience training and is doing so much better. She knows formal commands, walks a lot better on a leash and takes treats from your hand gently. Maya currently lives in a foster home with 2 male dogs, a cat that she enjoys antagonizing but means no harm to and 2 boy's- ages 14 and 7. Although Maya gets along great and plays very well with the other 2 dogs in the home, she can get a bit jealous and bossy. In the past, Maya's encounters with new dogs were confrontational so a forever home with no other dogs and with no intentions of expanding the canine portion of their family is BEST for Maya. When she meets new people Maya is shy but warms up very quickly with words of ease, encouragement and sometimes a treat. She's much more relaxed with women. Maya isn't a fan of a lot of people during big gatherings for the holidays and birthday parties inside the home so we move Maya and her crate into a quiet, closed off room to keep her relaxed. She is house and crate trained. Maya is amazing at sensing when we're going to be leaving the house and will sometimes voluntarily go into her crate. Unlike our own dogs, Maya will bark to let us know when someone has pulled into the driveway or when an occasional raccoon comes onto the porch to sift through our recycle bin in the middle of the night-lol! Maya has come a long way since arriving into rescue and deserves the chance to show the playful, sweet, affectionate, couch canoodling, belly-rub loving pooch she truly is. If you can provide a home with a lot of love and affection and spare a bit of patience, please fill out an application at www.CPRFund.com and email her foster mom LisaC@cprfund.com . Maya will make a great addition!
