Faith needs a forever home to live out her Golden years.
Bichon Frise Mix
Faith came to CPR Fund back in November after she arrived to animal control as a stray. Faith was terribly matted and appeared completely blind.
She had no concept of housebreaking and when taken outside she would just wander around the yard bumping into whatever was in her path. She trembled if she was touched and just wanted to curl up in a ball and sleep. Over the next month her foster family gave her plenty of space and love and surprisingly Faith began to blossom and answers to the nickname "Ladybug". She began to learn from her foster sisters and started to remember the layout of her foster home.
She loves to take naps in her beds and in her foster sister's crate with a nice soft dog bed inside. She even tolerates when her foster people put silly sweaters on her so she stays cozy and warm.
Now she’s even almost totally trained to go potty on weewee pads.
She doesn’t really enjoy being left all alone, but as long as she has a buddy to keep her company she seems pretty content. She is also VERY quiet, she has barely even made a peep since coming to the rescue. Now that she is learning how great it is to be in a warm safe home she is opening up and even starting to play with toys and slowly but surely she’s starting to seek out affection from people. Please email her foster mom with more questions.
All dogs are spay/neutered prior to placement, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested and on preventative.
