CAN YOU HELP CODY???

Please meet Cody! He is a beautiful, 2 year old German Shepherd mix. Cody is a very sweet fella, but a bit shy when meeting new people. He has had a pretty rough life up until now, and is finally getting all the love and affection he deserves. We are thrilled that he is finally wagging his tail! Cody arrived at CPR in desperate condition. He was neutered and then found to be heart worm positive. This caused his incision area to swell and did not allow the blood to clot correctly. His incision area swelled to the size of a grapefruit before being brought under control. He is currently on massive amounts of steroids, antibiotics and a number of other medications to clear up this condition. Once he is better he will begin heart worm treatment. Cody has a pretty sever case and will require a number of vet visits to ensure his full recovery. He has a long and VERY expensive road to recovery ahead of him.  We feel this sweet boy deserves a chance and we will do whatever it takes to help him. CPR is a non-profit private rescue that receives no funding outside of our adoption fees and donations. Please help us to continue to help the Cody's of the world. Any monetary donations would be immensely appreciated!!! THANK YOU in advance for you help. Donations can be made through our pay pal donation button or mailed into our P.O. Box listed on the main page of this site. For updates on Cody's condition please contact his foster mom Kim  at Kim@cprfund.com . We will be posting and tracking the total amount donated on our adoptable dogs page. New donations will be added daily.

Show your support for the CPR fund rescue by purchasing an official CPR fund T-shirt or sweat shirt. All profit goes directly to the care and treatment of CPR's foster dogs. Since the only dogs that CPR Fund takes in are dogs that are due to be put to sleep we take in dogs with many different ailments and needs. Only through the support of our loyal donators can we continue our mission. For more info on how you can help by purchasing a shirt please go to www.cprfund.com  main page
