Please welcome Violet! She is a beautiful, sweet 3 year old Pitty mix. Violet is crate and potty trained. She knows how to sit and is great on a leash. She does wonderful with dogs, cats and kids. She is a good watch dog and will let you know if someone new comes by and quickly turns into a love sponge when you reassure her they are welcome. She is funny too, as soon as you start petting her she collapses to the ground and rolls over in the process so that you can rub her belly, it never fails, she does it every time! She is a great mommy and welcomes everyone to who comes to see her pups! (She had 10 puppies, 5 girls & 5 boys on Friday March 20th). So once Violet is finished with her mommy duties, she will need a home to call her own. If you would like to meet Violet, please fill out an online adoption application  then email her foster mom, KellyW@cprfund.com , Violet is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives, heartworm negative, micro chipped and will be spayed prior to placement. Her adoption fee is $125.00.

What is CPR fund asking Santa for?.....DOG FOOD!!
This Christmas season CPR fund is in need of one thing. We are in need of dog food. CPR is a 503C non-profit organization which means we receive no outside funding or monies. Without the help of our dedicated donors we would not exist. Our food stores are getting low and we have many dogs currently in our care. This December we are asking for you consider helping with dog food or funds to purchase dog food. Because we are a non-profit all donation made to us are tax deductable....and we ALL need more deductions at the end of the year right?? lol So please consider helping us. Food donations can be dropped off at our central storage location in Crown Point IN or if you live farther out we may be able to arrange for one of our volunteers to pick it up from you. We will also be accepting food and monetary donations at our adoption events at Petsmart in Merrilville on Dec 12th & Dec 19th (see our "Adoption Events" page on our web page for details). We use Purina Pro Plan adult and Purina Pro Plan puppy food. Please email Stacy at Onofrio3405@comcast.net for drop off location or questions about donating.
